Project Sport4all was designed by Scout Society Association in partnership with Champions Factory, a sport organization from Bulgaria, City Council a local authority Maracena from Spain, Odred izvidjaca Pomoraca Posejdon from Croatia – an organization of scouts practicing various sports activities, as as well as the partner in Slovenia – CSOD, as a result of a low participation in the field of sport. The project will run from 01.01.2019 to 31.12.2019 and will include several sports activities.
The aim of the project is to support social inclusion through the organization of various sports activities in local communities in Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Spain. The objectives of the project are: to promote equality in sport between people from different backgrounds, gender equality and equal opportunities for all, for 12 months in the 5 countries, for 1,000 people; encouraging active communication between people from different backgrounds that contribute to the prevention of social exclusion and radicalization for 1,000 people from Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Spain and Slovenia for 12 months; promoting European traditional sports in the 5 countries.
Within the project will be organized several sports activities, competitions where several types of sports will be practiced. Sport4all will start with a launch conference to be held in Targu-Jiu, Romania, followed by a two-day planning meeting. Subsequently, training will be organized to develop sport education and understand the importance of engaging in sports activities. After that, according to the plans in each country for 3 days, events will be organized, sports competitions where different types of sports will be practiced by the people from the local communities. The results will be evaluated according to an evaluation plan and disseminated according to a dissemination plan.
