Scout Society launched, on May 23th, at the National Center for Promotion and Tourism Information “Constantin Brâncuşi”, the Sport4all project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Sport program.
At the opening conference, representatives of local institutions in Târgu-Jiu, such as Deputy Mayor Adrian Tudor, Director of the Youth and Sports County Directorate – Robert Doicaru, as well as representatives of partner organizations from Slovenia (ČSOD), Croatia (OIP Posejdon), Bulgaria (Champions Factory) and Spain (Ayutamento de Maracena), were present.
The launching event presented the future project activities that will be held in the next period in all five partner countries. Thus, in Târgu-Jiu, Zrece, Sofia, Split and Maracena, for three days there will be organized sports competitions that will include three different sports, one of which is a traditional one specific to each community.

 

The first activity of the project will be the opening conference in Targu Jiu, Romania, which will take place on May 23rd. At the conference there will be members from all partner organisations and also we will invite representatives of the local public authorities, of The Minister for Youth and Sports, of the Regional Youth and Sports Authority (Directia Judeteana de Tineret si Sport), of mass media and of other interested organisations (sporting clubs from the local community, organisations promoting active life and benefits of sports, health organisations using sports) and civil society.

During the event, we will talk about the project, its aim and objectives and also the activities which are to be held in all partner countries, while also talking about the Erasmus+ programme and promoting it to other organisations from the community.
